The Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics is an organisation of families and professionals dedicated to finding treatments that will improve the symptoms of Angelman syndrome and, ultimately, research that will provide a cure. Their research priority in Australia is a patient registry that collects data from over 70 countries in five languages to help understand the syndrome's progression and inform research towards a cure. 

They are committed to establishing a network of clinical expertise with clinical nurse coordinators in three states to provide a uniform standard of care regardless of age or where you live. This infrastructure will allow Australia to be an attractive location for highly anticipated clinical trials within the next year.
